After his much-acclaimed Perplex Recordings debut in june, Marco Gegenheimer presents his 2nd strike for the Berlin-based label.
Sound design par excellence inspired by Detroits rich musical past and Berghain is what connects the three tracks.
de.EP.troit is the most musical piece of the pack, an epic piece of floating techno with rich and analogue warm synth and string layers.
Friends of more stripped-down and toolish tracks will enjoy Earth Version 1 and 2.
Version 1 combines a monotone groove with a combination of filtered chords and a surprising uplifting synth bassline dropping in at the middle of the track.
Earth Version 2 completes the package with another slice of great deep dub-infected and atmospheric techno.
